Hoi! Ik ben Karlijn en trotse eigenaresse van On Count Dance Centre. Dansen, zingen en acteren. Het zat er van kleins af aan al in. Toen ik als 12-jarig meisje in de musical The Sound of Music mocht spelen, wist ik het, hier wil ik iets mee doen! Die droom bracht me naar het Albeda Dans College, waar ik werd opgeleid tot allround commercieel danseres.
Vanaf dat moment rolde ik de danswereld in. Ik was te zien in commercials, deed internationale shows voor bekende sportmerken en deed prachtige producties. Maar naast dat uitvoerende werk vond ik ook mezelf in het lesgeven. Iemand iets leren, motiveren en zien groeien. Zowel fysiek als mentaal. Ik vond het geweldig! Zo ontstond langzaam het idee van een eigen dansstudio.
In 2020, net na de lockdown dacht ik “Oké, dit is het moment. Ik ga dit gewoon doen!”. En zo werd On Count Dance Centre geboren. En eerlijk? DE BESTE KEUZE OOIT! Inmiddels zijn we uitgegroeid tot dé Feminine dansschool van Utrecht, een plek waar ik ongelofelijk trots op ben.

Hi my lovely angels,
My name is Marieke. I was born and raised in the Netherlands and graduated from Aventus Dance education in 2016. After that, I moved to the beautiful city of Utrecht to follow my biggest passion -dance- even further.
Over the years, I have focused mainly on training and creating my own work as a dancer. I am trained in many different styles such as hip hop, commercial, heels, feminine, ballet, modern and jazz funk. During this journey I discovered that my heart beats just a little bit faster for feminine and heels.
Since last year, I have been teaching consistently and sharing my passion with others. Alongside teaching dance, I am also a reformer pilates instructor. I feel incredibly grateful to call this my job and to continue this journey at On Count Dance Centre.
My classes are all about becoming the best version of yourself through hard work, growth, confidence and, most importantly, a lot of fun. I truly believe that when you combine discipline with passion and enjoyment, you grow stronger and faster than you ever imagined.

My name is Joshue Garcia, but feel free to call me Josh. I’m an all-around creative, always exploring new ways to expand my skills and elevate my craft.
I began my professional dance journey in 2018 at a resort chain in Aruba, and since 2022, I’ve been proud to continue that path here in the Netherlands.
I’m beyond excited to bring you energy, culture, and confidence; all through technique, choreography, and movement. My classes are designed to help you embrace who you are and celebrate your femininity with pride.

My name is Iris, nice to meet you :)
Dance has been my passion since I was 6 years old, it has stuck with me through many years and I am grateful to be able to call it my job. From teaching to performing to choreographing, I love the variety of it all. I have trained in multiple styles such as hiphop, contemporary, heels, jazz funk, and I am so excited to be offering weekly commercial classes at On Count Dance Centre!
To me, dance is all about having fun & expressing who you are, there is no right or wrong!
My class will be a space that offers you the freedom to connect with yourself, but also with the people around you; a supportive space where we celebrate our artistry and our mutual love for dance!

Marie Leullieux
Hello everybody!
I’m Marie, a frenchie who decided to settle to the Netherlands 3 years ago. I started dancing very young, and have a background in contemporary, hip hop, modern dance, cabaret, latin dance and sensual dances. I worked as a professional dancer for 7 years in France and am (slowly) building my career here in the Netherlands. I discovered sensuality dances with (french) cabaret, and later started to perform as a stripper and burlesque performer as well. In my classes I love to emphasize embodiement, slow flow, expression and musicality. Dancing is a very powerful way to connect to a sense of self-love, self-esteem, self-confidence and this is what I want to work with.
Déan Posthumus
Hi, I’m Déan, a dancer, choreographer and teacher with a lifelong love for movement and expression. I’ve been dancing since I was two years old, later training in competitive teams and graduating from the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts. Dance has always been the place where I feel most alive, both on stage and in the studio.
Teaching is something I truly love, because it allows me to share that energy with others. In my classes, I focus on creating a warm and encouraging space where you feel safe to explore, challenge yourself and grow. Not only in technique, but also in confidence and connection to your body. I love diving into musicality, details and performance, and seeing students step more fully into their own presence.
In my Heels and Feminine Intermediate classes, we blend strength, softness and sensuality, with attention for technique and plenty of room for personal expression. My goal is that you leave class feeling empowered, inspired and excited to keep moving.
I can’t wait to dance together!
Manon Ottenhof
Hi!
Mijn naam is Manon! Sinds kleins af aan is dansen mijn passie. Toen ik 5 jaar was ben ik begonnen met musical lessen, wat verder ging in mijn eerste hiphop en jazz lessen. Na heel wat jaren voor mijn plezier te dansen en wedstrijden doen, heb ik auditie gedaan voor de dans academie. Hier heb ik nog meer mijn eigen stijl en kwaliteiten ontdekt. Tijdens en na de dans academie ben ik het werkveld ingerold. Zo werk ik nu met ontzettend veel liefde als dans docente en uitvoerend danseres. In mijn lessen neem ik mijn ervaring als uitvoerend danseres mee, denk aan stage presence, confidence en expressie. Maar naast het plaatje vind ik het nog belangrijker hoe jij je voelt in jouw lichaam en in mijn les, er is namelijk niks mooiers dan vrouw zijn! Zo staan mijn lessen in het teken van groei, fijne energie en heel veel plezier. Hopelijk zie ik je een keertje in een van mijn lessen <3.
Ana Meireles
Hi! My name is Ana and I am a dancer and teacher, 25 years old and currently based in Arnhem. I am a graduate from the dancer/maker BA at ArtEZ University of the Arts. I am active as a performer, teacher and maker throughout the Netherlands.
I am very excited to bring you an energetic class, where you will develop your skills in contemporary dance, engage with your own creativity and most importantly, have fun!
The focus in the class will be on the technique of flow and groove, mixed with dynamics and rhythm. I would love to see you there and ignite your passion in dance!!
Mae van der Spek
Hoi lieve allemaal!
Ik ben Mae en sinds kleins af aan is dansen al mijn grote liefde. Ik ben op mijn 7e begonnen met streetdance en hiphop en vanaf mijn 13e ben ik mijn stijlen gaan uitbreiden met onder andere afro, dancehall en later ook feminine.
Ik had als klein meisje al de droom om van dansen mijn werk te kunnen maken, Ik ben zo ontzettend blij en dankbaar dat ik het nu ook echt mijn werk kan noemen! Op mijn 15e werd ik gevraagd om kleine kids les te gaan geven, mijn allereerste bijbaantje! Vanaf mijn 18e ben ik ook tieners en volwassenen gaan lesgeven.
Na mijn middelbare school ben ik fulltime gaan focussen op dansen, met name op het lesgeven, en zo ben ik er eigenlijk ingerold. Ik heb mijn grote passie gevonden in het lesgeven en ik hoop dat met jullie te kunnen delen!
Ik heb vind het super leuk om bij On Count elke donderdag de Afro Fusion-les te geven! Hopelijk zie ik je snel een keertje in mijn les!
